Welcome to Born To Be Local! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our travel services, including bookings, itineraries, tours, and related experiences. By using our services, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any part of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use our services.

2. Services Provided

Born To Be Local LLC offers a variety of travel services, including but not limited to:

  • Trip planning and consultation

  • Booking accommodations, transportation, and activities

  • Organizing group tours and personalized travel experiences

We do not guarantee that all services will be available at all times and reserve the right to modify or discontinue services without notice.

3. Booking and Payments

  • Deposit: A non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking.

  • Final Payment: The full balance must be paid by the date specified in your booking confirmation, typically 30/60 days prior to departure. Failure to pay may result in cancellation of your reservation.

  • Currency: All payments are processed in USD.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

  • Customer Cancellation: Cancellations must be made in writing. Refunds are subject to the following conditions:

More than 60 Days Prior to start date of group experience:

  • Full Refund: If you cancel your booking more than 60 days before the scheduled start date of the group experience, you will receive a full refund, minus the non-refundable deposit.

30 to 59 Days Prior to Departure:

  • Partial Refund: If you cancel between 30 and 59 days before departure, you will receive a 50% refund of the total booking cost, minus the non-refundable deposit. .

Less than 30 Days Prior to Departure:

  • No Refund: Cancellations made less than 30 days before departure are non-refundable.

Company Cancellation: We reserve the right to cancel trips for reasons such as force majeure, insufficient participants, or unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, we will offer a full refund or an alternative travel experience.

5. Changes to Itinerary

We make every effort to adhere to the published itinerary, but changes may occur due to factors beyond our control (e.g., weather, political conditions, strikes). We reserve the right to modify itineraries as necessary, including changes to accommodations, transportation, and activities. In such cases, we will inform you of the changes as soon as possible.

6. Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover unforeseen events, including trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and lost baggage. Born To Be Local LLC is not responsible for any costs or losses incurred due to the lack of travel insurance.

7. Travel Documents and Health Requirements

  • Passports and Visas: It is your responsibility to ensure that your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your return date and that you have the necessary visas for your destination.

  • Health Requirements: Some destinations may require vaccinations or have other health requirements. It is your responsibility to consult your healthcare provider and ensure compliance.

8. Responsibility and Liability

Born To Be Local LLC acts only as an intermediary between you and service providers (e.g., hotels, airlines, tour operators). We are not liable for any direct or indirect losses, damages, injuries, or delays caused by third parties or events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, accidents, strikes, or government actions.

9. Conduct and Behavior

You are expected to conduct yourself respectfully during your trip. Disruptive, dangerous, or inappropriate behavior may result in your removal from the tour without refund. Born To Be Local LLC maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy regarding the use, possession, or distribution of illegal drugs on any of our tours, transportation, accommodations, or other services. Ignorance of local laws will not be considered an excuse for violations.

10. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform any obligations under these Terms if such failure is caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, terrorism, civil unrest, pandemics, or government restrictions.

11. Intellectual Property

All content, including text, images, logos, and materials provided by Born To Be Local LLC, is owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, distribute, or use our intellectual property without written permission.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, USA, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Travis County, Texas.

13. Amendments

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or other communication channels.
